Field Visit- School Reorganization Program

The SMU team conducted a visit to Murree to assess the implementation of the Chief Minister Punjab’s School Reorganization Program and the current status of educational facilities. During the visit, the team reviewed whether the schools had been reorganized as per the program guidelines, the condition of classrooms, need for repair and maintenance of buildings, availability of clean drinking water, functional washrooms, and overall cleanliness of the premises. They also assessed the availability of teaching staff, student-teacher ratio, attendance of both staff and students, and the use of digital tools for attendance and record-keeping. Additionally, they examined the availability of furniture, learning materials, playground facilities, and arrangements for special education or inclusive learning. Coordination with the District Education Authority, submission of monthly performance reports, third-party evaluations, and visits by monitoring officers were also reviewed. Feedback from students and parents was collected, and issues related to sanitation, safety measures, and infrastructure were documented with photographs.
