Surprise Visit to DHQ Hospital Muzaffargarh by SMU Head
Mr. Amjad Hafeez, Head of the Chief Minister’s Special Monitoring Unit (SMU), carried out a surprise inspection of the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital Muzaffargarh to review the quality of services and operational performance. The purpose of the visit was to assess the hospital’s compliance with the Punjab Government’s standards for providing accessible, efficient, and patient-focused healthcare services.
During the visit, Mr. Amjad Hafeez examined key operational aspects, such as the availability of life-saving medicines, cleanliness and hygiene levels in wards, staff presence, the efficiency of emergency care, and the condition of diagnostic and surgical departments. Special focus was placed on the timeliness of staff, the efficiency of patient complaint and feedback systems, and the overall standard of care being offered to patients.
