Field Visit-Government Elementary model school 84-D, Pakpattan

The Chief Minister's Special Monitoring Unit conducted a visit to a school under the School Reorganization Initiative to assess its current condition and overall functionality. During the visit, key aspects were reviewed including whether the teaching staff is receiving monthly salaries, if a School Council of parents and teachers has been established and holding meetings, and whether any fees are being charged from students. The team checked the total number of enrolled students, attendance on the day of the visit, number of teachers present, total classrooms, availability and condition of washrooms, and whether any classrooms have been declared dangerous by the government. They also assessed the presence of a boundary wall, overall cleanliness of the school, availability of clean drinking water, and whether the free milk program is being implemented. Furthermore, the team observed if students are receiving free textbooks, if one class per room policy is followed, availability of furniture and first aid, and whether teachers were nominated for PEF training or CPDP programs.
