The Climate Resilient Punjab Vision and Action Plan 2024 is a comprehensive and forward-looking roadmap designed to address the pressing challenges of climate change in Punjab province. Government departments, civil society organizations, the private sector, academia, activists, research organizations/think tanks and community representatives have all been key stakeholders, ensuring that the plan is holistic and inclusive so as to accommodate various projects belonging to various concerned portfolios.
The Environment Protection & Climate Change Department is one of the leading provincial authorities to materialize this effort and is currently running 2 projects through this Program that are focused on climate leadership development and air quality improvement in Punjab.
